Serenading the listener over the backdrop of a mournful steel guitar, Ryland Fisher invites us to get intimate and ‘Forget For a While.’ It’s quite possibly the sexiest sad song you’ll ever hear. From the first drumstick click to Fisher’s final croon, it’s seductive and soulful all at once. Even though it’s a bit of an anti-love song, his gut-wrenchingly honest lyrics cut straight to the heart.
