Lyrically and vocally, this is the most vulnerable he’s ever sounded. The lyrical picture is crystal clear with, “I can’t rewrite the words written on your face,” and, “If there’s a piece of your heart that ain’t broke yet, baby, maybe there’s still something left to save.” Is the battle of this relationship worth waging anymore?
